Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: July 2, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the content and conduct standards that apply to everyone who uses vid.money. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service and applies equally to free and paid accounts.
vid.money is a tool for creating legitimate, value-adding YouTube content. We built it to help creators grow channels, reach audiences, and earn revenue, not to enable harm. The rules below exist to keep the platform safe for everyone who uses it and for the audiences who watch the videos it produces.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not use vid.money to create, distribute, or facilitate any content that:
Illegal or harmful
- Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation, including laws against fraud, defamation, harassment, hate speech, or incitement to violence.
- Depicts, promotes, or glorifies violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
- Constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or sexualizes minors in any way. Accounts found generating such content will be terminated immediately and reported to the appropriate authorities.
- Promotes the sale or use of illegal drugs, weapons, or other regulated substances in jurisdictions where such promotion is prohibited.
- Constitutes human trafficking, exploitation, or any other form of modern slavery.
Deceptive or misleading
- Contains deliberate misinformation or disinformation designed to deceive viewers about factual matters, including fabricated news, false health claims, or manipulated statistics.
- Impersonates any real person (living or deceased), organization, brand, or public figure without explicit authorization, in a way that could mislead viewers or cause harm to the impersonated party.
- Uses fake engagement tactics, including purchasing views, subscribers, or comments, in conjunction with content generated on our platform.
- Disguises the commercial or sponsored nature of content in violation of applicable disclosure requirements (such as FTC guidelines or YouTube's paid promotion disclosure feature).
Infringing third-party rights
- Uses copyrighted music, footage, images, or other creative works you do not have a valid license to use. This includes popular music tracks, film clips, sports broadcasts, and third-party voiceover recordings.
- Violates the trademarks or trade dress of any third party in a way that creates consumer confusion.
- Discloses confidential information, trade secrets, or personal data of third parties without authorization.
2. Prohibited Conduct
Beyond the content rules above, you may not use vid.money to:
- Spam: generate large volumes of low-effort, duplicate, or repetitive content for the purpose of flooding YouTube with spam channels or gaming recommendation algorithms in bad faith.
- Scrape or harvest: use automated tools, bots, or scripts to extract data from the platform beyond what is available through our official API.
- Circumvent limits: attempt to bypass credit balances, rate limits, or access controls through technical means (e.g., creating multiple accounts to avoid paying).
- Compromise security: probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems; attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, infrastructure, or data belonging to other users or to vid.money.
- Interfere with service: take any action that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or that disrupts other users' access to the platform.
- Resell without authorization: resell or white-label access to the platform or to generated content in bulk without a separate written agreement with us.
3. YouTube Terms of Service Compliance
vid.money produces content intended for YouTube. All content you publish is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You are solely responsible for compliance with those policies. Key obligations include:
- Disclosing AI-generated or significantly altered content using YouTube's built-in disclosure feature, where required by YouTube policy.
- Not publishing content on channels in ways that violate YouTube Partner Program policies if you are monetizing your channel.
- Adhering to YouTube's policies on repetitive content, low-effort content, and artificially inflated metrics.
- Complying with YouTube's children's content policies, including COPPA compliance requirements, if your content is directed at children.
We may review, but are not obligated to review, content or channel activity for patterns that suggest systematic abuse of YouTube's policies via our platform. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are in breach of YouTube's Terms of Service in ways that create legal or reputational risk for vid.money.
4. Enforcement
How we respond to violations
We take violations of this AUP seriously and respond proportionally. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, our response may include:
- A warning and request to remove violating content.
- Temporary suspension of video generation capabilities.
- Permanent termination of your account and all associated data.
- Reporting to law enforcement or other relevant authorities where content is illegal or constitutes a serious threat to safety.
Reporting violations
If you believe another user is violating this AUP, or if you encounter generated content that appears to breach these rules, please report it to hello@vid.money with as much detail as possible. We review all reports and will take action where appropriate.
Appeals
If your account is suspended or terminated and you believe the decision was made in error, you may appeal by emailing hello@vid.money with the subject line “Account Appeal”. We will review your appeal and respond within 5 business days. Reinstatement is at our sole discretion.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP as the platform evolves and as new use cases or risks emerge. We will notify you of material changes by email and by posting a notice in the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
