vid.money (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates an AI-powered faceless YouTube video generation platform at vid.money. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. Please read it carefully before using our service.
By creating an account or using vid.money you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Information We Collect
Account data
When you register you provide your email address and, optionally, your name. If you sign in through a third-party OAuth provider (such as Google) we receive the profile information that provider makes available, typically your name, email, and profile photo.
Usage and content data
We store the topics, scripts, voiceover preferences, and other inputs you submit when generating videos. We also retain the videos and associated assets produced by the platform on your behalf. This data is tied to your account and is necessary to deliver the service.
Billing data
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number or CVV on our servers. We do receive and store billing metadata from Stripe, such as the credit packs you purchased, your current credit balance, and invoice history, so we can manage your account correctly.
Log and technical data
Our servers automatically log IP addresses, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps when you access the platform. This data is used for security, debugging, and aggregate analytics. We retain raw logs for up to 90 days.
Cookies and local storage
We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session and authenticate your requests. We may also set preference cookies (e.g., theme) that do not track you across sites. We do not serve third-party advertising cookies.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Providing the service: processing your video generation requests, storing your output files, and delivering them to you.
- Account management: authentication, billing, credit balance enforcement, and customer support.
- Service improvement: analyzing aggregate usage patterns (not individual content) to make the platform faster and more reliable.
- Security and fraud prevention: detecting abuse, protecting against unauthorized access, and complying with legal obligations.
- Transactional communications: sending receipts, password reset emails, and critical product updates. You cannot opt out of these while you hold an account.
- Marketing (with consent): if you opt in, we may send product news and tips. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties and we do not use your content to train our own AI models without your explicit consent.
3. Third-Party AI Processors
vid.money is built on top of several AI infrastructure providers. When you submit a topic or generate a video, portions of your input are sent to these processors to fulfill your request:
- Language model providers: script research and writing. Inputs are processed under API data usage policies that exclude customer inputs from model training by default.
- ElevenLabs: voiceover synthesis. Audio is generated on demand and not stored by ElevenLabs beyond the duration required to return the result.
- Image and video model providers: scene visuals for your videos. Inputs are transient and not stored for model training.
- Rendering infrastructure: video composition and encoding runs in our own cloud environment; no personal data leaves our infrastructure during this step.
Each provider is subject to a data processing agreement. We choose providers who commit to not training on customer API data. Links to each provider's privacy policy are available on request.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated videos and project assets are stored for a minimum of 30 days after creation, and for as long as your account remains open. You may delete individual projects at any time from your dashboard.
When you delete your account, we permanently delete your personal data and all associated content within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records (e.g., billing records for tax purposes, which we keep for up to 7 years as required by law).
5. Data Security
We use TLS/HTTPS for all data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. Access to production databases is restricted to authorized personnel via role-based access control and MFA. We conduct periodic security reviews and immediately investigate any suspected breach.
Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Restriction and objection: ask us to stop or limit certain processing activities.
- Withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

7. Children's Privacy
vid.money is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
8. International Transfers
Our infrastructure is primarily hosted in the United States. If you access the service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. We rely on standard contractual clauses and other lawful transfer mechanisms where required.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our service evolves. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice in the dashboard at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
